About Me

I am 48 years old, a married father of two, a graduate of New Kent High School, I grew up in New Kent County and am presently a Deputy Clerk in the Circuit Court Clerk's office.

I have more than a decade of supervisory and managerial experience along with a well rounded  knowledge of all the duties of the Clerk's Office where I have worked for 3 years.





I am endorsed by the present Clerk who has held the position for 12 years and is finishing out her final term.

I believe my experience both in the private sector and in local government, as well as my long abiding interest in local history, make me an excellent candidate . . .

"I've met payroll and can read a plat. I've hired and scheduled employees and sworn in a jury. I have dealt with vendors and invoices as well as appointed executors and received wills. My experience runs the gamut across those areas where both small business and a local government office intersect.

I have a respect and deep affection for the history and records of New Kent County that has led me to create  a website devoted to the County's history for the last five years."
